15 Voices from the Act on Radio players brings you the story that introduces Sherlock Holms and Dr. Watson.
Dr. John Watson, recently returned from the war in Afghanistan, mentions to a friend that he is looking for a less expensive place to live. His friend introduces him to someone he knows is looking to share the costs of a flat. Thus Dr. Watson is introduced to Sherlock Holmes, consulting detective.
A telegram requests Holmes's help on a murder that has stumped Scotland Yard detectives, Gregson and Lestrade. Holmes invites Watson to come with him as he investigates the murder. Examining the walkway lead them to an abandoned house in which they found a room containing a woman's gold wedding ring, the word "RACHE" written in blood on a wall, and the body of one Enoch Drebber.
Holmes says that Drebber was poisoned and gives a description of poisoner.
