Ebenerzer Scrooge would describe himself as a good
business man. He was thrifty and refused to spend
any money that was not absolutly required. He did
not accept any excuses on repayment of loans. And
he had little sympathy for anyone who would not work.
He felt that Christmas was a waste of time, time that
could be more profitably used as another day of work.
He firmly believed all this and lived his life to fullfill this
idea until he gets a visit from his old partner, Jacob
Marley, and the spirits of Christmas Past, Christmas
Present and Christmas Yet to Come.
